Grab your board and hit the water with this stand-up paddle boarding class with a professional instructor. In a small group of no more than seven people, journey out of Santiago to one of the many nearby beaches, rivers, lakes, or lagoons. Spend approximately 3 hours on the water enjoying the scenery and wildlife along with fun facts from your professional guide.  Lunch is included and is provided during the break.

Pick up and drop off will be at your hotel in the lobby. Together, drive to a beach, river, lake, or lagoon for a day of stand up paddle boarding with a professional instructor.

After a warmup session, there is a short safety briefing. After that, it's time to grab your supplied equipment — including board, wetsuit, and booties —  and venture out onto the water to stand up paddle board.

After 3 hours of paddle boarding, watched over by your instructor, take a break for lunch in your scenic surroundings.

There's time for another hour-long paddle boarding session before returning to central Santiago, arriving approximately 5 pm.

First and foremost, for all of our full moon stand up paddle boarding options, whether it is River Rapel, Lago Rapel or Portillo, we require that everyone participating have at least some stand up paddle boarding experience because of the possible conditions during the evening and the places we visit.  Embark on an experience of a lifetime during the full moon in Chile´s majestic wilderness.  Don´t forget it that the moon does not have to be completely full to enjoy these tours.  The moon can be waning or waxing gibbous as well to go.

If you are in Chile during the full moon, you can not miss any of these trips. Not only is it a great exercise, but these trips can be very spiritual as well. The full moon along with all the nature and you in the middle of Chile´s wilderness, is extraordinary.

Upon arrival, our staff will prepare all of the equipment covering all of the safety regulations and guidelines to have a safe adventure. The beginning of the trip starts a little before the sunset and ends with the full moon, waning or waxing gibbous. Spend an entire evening immersed with species of wildlife such as a wide variety of birds, farm animals, trees and mountain ranges. 

At the end of each trip, we provide dinner which normally consists of something light such as chicken with cus cus along with snacks, water, juice, beer or wine.

From there we will return to Santiago and drop you off at your location.

2 hours from Santiago, is the beautiful town of Zapallar in Cachagua where the Penguin Island is located just 100 meters from the shore. You will enjoy a 1 hour close encounter with 2 Humbolt Penguin colonies from your stand up paddle board. Afterwards, you will enjoy the breathtaking valley of Aconcagua with the largest mountain in South America 'Acongagua.'

You will be picked up in Santiago at 8:00am and from there we head off to Zapallar in Cachagua which is located 2 hours from Santiago.

During the trip we provide snacks, water and juices. We will arrive at 10:00am and our staff will prepare all of the stand up paddle board equipment along with a brief safety procedure. At 10:20am we provide stand up paddle board classes with specific techniques to do the sport correctly and efficiently.  At 11:20am we begin our stand up paddle board adventure around Penguin Island where we will provide insight about the island and the penguins that inhabit it. We will have lunch at 12:30 - 1:30pm and between 1:30 - 3:30 pm we continue stand up paddle boarding or a walk on the boardwalk along the beach.

At 5:30pm we arrive in Santiago.
